Concreting works are progressing at a fast pace in Mecon Property’s latest project, in Pirgos Psilonerou, Chania. Three of the five residences and their swimming pools are gradually taking shape.
During the specific construction stage, particularly important is the use of C30/37 class concrete and certified B500C rebar steel, as well as the compliance with the latest static and anti-seismic regulations.
Particular attention is also paid to the vibration and proper compaction of the concrete inside the forms, to avoid voids, while the quality of the concrete is checked by the company with frequent sampling, in order to carry out laboratory tests of its strength.
